“The End of Time"? I say bring it on!
That’s my take on 2012. What’s yours?

To be more specific….
The “End of Time” as we know it now.
Time is a concept that creates boundaries.
Our attachment to matter is just a concept.
Nothing is solid and nothing is static.
Not even the rocks.
Our range of perception is so limited and minute in comparison to
the spectrum of frequencies that flow through the universe.
The only way to become aware of them is to listen in silence.
99.9% of even the tiniest molecule is NOTHING.
99.9% Pure unadulterated, nothing!
Breathe it in, and let it’s power fill you.
It is always surrounding us and filling our being.
We are but a minute bit of consciousness
leaving our imprint on the nothing we all share.

They say “Nothing last forever” and I agree,
Nothing is eternal. It is everlasting.
It is the essence of all things that ever were or will be.
The only thing that is something is our perception of something.
We give life to nothing by calling it something,
just as our Creator made something from nothing.
It is my belief that “Life is just a dream", but…
the real dreamer is our Creator and we are
just His/Her nightmare run amuk.
That would be due to our insistence on free will,
the freedom to think we are something
when we are really nothing more than dreamers within a dream.
Wake-up time, 12/21/2012. Unless you’re awake already.

I found some very unique photos of Bell Rock by Paul E. Foster.
There may be natural or logical explanations (raindrops?) for the phenomenon he captured on film that day, but he definitely has a talent for capturing subtle light.

I don’t know for sure what is going to happen at Bell Rock on Dec. 21st, 2012 but many have their theories, especially the UFO enthusiasts. I grew up around NASA and “black projects” with a father who was an Electro-Optical Physicist. To say I’m a “UFO skeptic” would be unfair, I was just raised to Know a Higher Power. It’s not that I thought my father was God, but he sure seemed to be in direct contact with realms beyond the average comprehension, or public knowledge. Not that he talked to spirits. He was a God fearing, Bible toting, Southern Baptist. Rumor has it that he worked for “the company” but all I know for sure is the companies he consulted for reads like Stanton Friedman’s who’s who list of reverse engineering UFOs. I watched him work, and no mechanical UFOs were ever visible. Millions of man hours went into the development of the ccd, ruby laser, fiber optics, ion drive, and other “black projects".
The only spacemen I ever met were NASA astronauts.

Trans-dimensional beings, that’s a different subject altogether.
I believe we all are, but most minds are stuck in one frequency.
The changing frequencies of the solar system are changing our frequencies too.
2012 will be the apex of the changes that have already been happening to many of us.

A mind boggling, life changing, event happened to me in 1963 when I was 10. My father challenged me to a chess game in our living room and when I walked in he told me to go first. Naturally I was suspicious since we always drew to see who went first, not to mention the strange fog and eerie light in the room. After some convincing it was “my turn to go first", I reached down to move my knight…
My hand went right through it!
I tried again, and again, unable to grasp what I was seeing.

I walked around the board looking at all the pieces. They lined up from different angles just like they should as you move around a board. It couldn’t be a picture or slide projection. Finally dad revealed what all the smoke and mirrors were about, it was a holographic projection of a chess board he created for a “project” demonstration.

I never looked at “reality” quite the same after that day.
I still ask “is it real? or is it just an illusion….”

One thing he PROVED to me as a kid was there is no such thing as a solid object. He showed me “10,000 angels dancing on the head of a pin” using the electron microscope he had just refined for “a client". I always thought the saying meant the angels were dancing on the flat head end of a pin, but what he showed me was just the pointy tip with 10,000+ electrons spinning around in orbit.

Yet, I still crash into walls when I try to walk through them.
(and bleed when I stick a pin in my finger! HELP! I’m “real"!)

So what does all that have to do with 2012 and Bell Rock? You tell me.
I’m just the “host” getting this discussion started, and maybe steering a little.

Bell Rock has been etched in our minds with images on the sliver screen.

Lots of westerns were filmed in Sedona and around Bell Rock.

One of my favorites was The Legend of Lobo (1961) by Disney. Hiking along Dry Creek behind Sedona Pines RV Resort I discovered the “cave” that Lobo lived in, made of red concrete and chicken wire. It even had a dead Juniper tree trunk cemented in to make it look more realistic. I trust that not all of the red rock formations in Sedona were created by Disney!

Jimmy Stewart was one of my favorite actors(Harvey!). He starred in the Sedona Western, Broken Arrow (1950) and later with Glen Ford in Fire Creek (1965).

Another of my favorite Bell Rock movies was The Rounders (1964), starring Glen Ford and Henry Fonda. Parts of which were filmed almost where my house sits today, although with a lesser view of Bell Rock today thanks to development and growth (60′ trees!).

A couple of movies not on Bradshaw’s list are Kenny Roger’s The Gambler (1984?)
and a Robert DeNiro chase scene in Midnight Run involving a hundred locals and their cars. I’m sure there are many others not listed and the Sedona Heritage Museum has a section dedicated to our film history if you are interested.

A lot of TV commercials are filmed here, like the Skittles Mtn.Bikers on Bell Rock.

But my favorite Bell Rock scene of all time…

Quantum Leap, a TV series from 1989-1993 starring Scott Bakula as Sam & the late Dean Stockwell as “Al", who could appear as a holographic projection to Sam wherever he was, that is if the computer, “Ziggy", wasn’t acting up.
A lot of reality in that.
In the final season they showed the outside of Headquarters for the first time as “Sam” was zooming back into his own body which was located at Headquarters ……….inside of Bell Rock.
That was a nice night shot of Bell Rock glowing with a golden light (as usual!).

Greetings and blessings from Heaven on Earth.

Bell Rock certainly has a magical draw and a special place in my life.

My father thought oil painting lessons would be a good “vision quest” for my birthday when I was becoming a “man” at 14. I spent a year painting flowers, animals, and landscapes with a very interesting teacher, who just happened to be my finger painting teacher from 1st grade. I didn’t improve much but created a dozen or so oils to give away to whatever family members would take them.

After a few years in college I took off for a summer stint driving a bus, hiking, and chasing girls at Grand Canyon National Park in Arizona. There was 6 feet of snow on the ground when I arrived in May 1975, I had never seen more than 2 inches growing up in Texas. Friends at the Grand Canyon brought me down to Sedona & Oak Creek to “thaw out” and go swimming. Whoa boy!, those were the days, college girls from NAU all up and down the creek, baring it all.
Times and the laws have changed
(not to mention my marital status).

After meeting a girl from Tucson on my birthday that same year,
moving to Death Valley together, getting married, having a kid at the GC, etc…
We ended up moving to Sedona at the beginning of 1978 and had 4 more!
Yep, 5 offspring, 3 handsome boys & 2 beautiful girls.
We now have 4 awe-inspiring grandkids, and an empty nest!
Life has been good to us.

Anyway, back to the story…..

My mom came to visit us for the first time in Sedona back in 1978 and could not wait to send me a painting I had done of “red rocks” 10 years earlier. Lo and behold, when it arrived it was of Bell Rock. It hangs in my living room to this day to remind me of the synchronizations that brought me here unaware of the painting.

I was certainly led by “unseen forces". The fact that I am still alive and living here today is proof of powers beyond my understanding.

Not by “my” power, but by the power of The Creator that flows through everything. Not just animate objects as we call them, in this place the rocks are animated too. Look at some of the pictures on this site for too long and you may see stone faces staring back at you. If you listen you may even hear them calling you home………..
