CEREAL PICTOGRAMs: MORE THAN MEETs the EYE – OR NOT?<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/div>\n
<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/div>\nThe heart near the latest crop circle is a nice touch whether made by the same artist or not. Would a televised awards ceremony for the best designs of the past ten years tempt the artists to finally acknowledge there own work or not?<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

Reported 21st June.<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/div>\n <\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/div>\nA wonderful formation has appeared in the mystical Vale of Pewsey to welcome in the Summer Solstice. This formation seems to me to have links to the Wilton Windmill formation that appeared in oil seed rape earlier in the season. This formation is in young wheat crop. This latest circle appears, like Wilton Windmill, to have some sort of coded message within the design<\/i>.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

This Crop circle may indicate the Solar Analemma. The formation is orientated to the directions of equinox sunrise and sunset; fitting as Sept 21 (or March 21) is the day the sun would be in the exact centre of a hypothetically perfect Analemma of the sun. (The actual Analemma is more uneven and distorted.) That is to say that if the Crop circle was an image of the solar Analemma traced in the sky throughout the year, then 21st September would be when the sun was in the exact centre of the path traced – i.e.. the exact centre circle of the formation. <\/span><\/span><\/i><\/div>\n

There is far more here than meets the eye. Whether this particular pictogram is man-made or star-borne it’s unusual representations of the yin-yang icon coupled with a multitude of subliminal messages both mathematical as well as astronomical not to mention the terrain references is worthy of everyone’s attention and study.<\/span><\/span><\/i><\/div>\n
