10 Years After!

Ten years later and Peter is still guiding people to the Top of Bell Rock. 4,737 at last count.
At 80 years old he still Rocks. He is officiating a wedding on Top of Bell Rock this Solstice.
What a long strange trip it’s been but I’m glad he didn’t jump to conclusions.
You can find him in The Top of Bell Rock Club (TRBC) on Facebook.
As for me, I stay grounded watching from my humble abode.

Jumping to Conclusions

Some people have interpreted Peter’s “Leap of Faith” as meaning a jump to his death from the top of Bell Rock. Interestingly, one of the most viewed post on this website is Peter’s post http://bellrock2012.com/2012blog/15-october-2010/ where he concludes with:

“I would like to commence this section by emphatically stating an extremely important truth which everyone should know and understand beyond any possible doubt:

There really is no such state as “death”.”

As to whether he took “a Leap of Faith from the top of Bell Rock” at 11:11am on December 21st, 2012, the subject is open for debate. I will go out on a limb and play devil’s advocate (for a lawyer none the less?). In my opinion Peter took a huge Leap of Faith by following his heart and sharing his journey with anyone who cared to join him. Many people from around the world have climbed to the top of Bell Rock with Peter and felt a renewal of their love for the Earth. It is a place where new dreams are born and limiting beliefs vanish. Death is the most limiting of beliefs.

In order to get to the spot where Peter took so many pilgrims requires a short physical leap over a chasm, and that requires faith. Looking at the possibility of missing instead of the goal could spell doom or at least a lot of bumps and bruises. Yet even a pregnant mother to be joined Peter in taking that Leap of Faith to bathe in the unique energy that emanates from that spot. Peter is not the first to discover it, nor will he be the last.

For thousands of years Bell Rock has been considered Sacred Ground by Native American Tribes of Northern Arizona, especially by the Hopi and Yavapai peoples. It considered by many one of the major Vortex energy centers on the planet. It is a shame that so many tourist feel the need to carve their names and symbols on the rock that they have obscured many ancient pictogylph and petroglyphs that were once visible on and around Bell Rock. Many ancient stories have been lost.

Peter’s message and mission were clear, that there is a virus that is corrupting the holographic universe we live in. It’s really not that different from many of our greatest teachers who share the belief that what we see is the result of what we believe and the words we program our minds with. The truth has always been there for the seeker to find. It is limited belief systems that keep us separate from realms that are eternal and lead to death and disease. It all starts with how the message is interpreted and what conclusions we jump to.

A Picture Perfect Day for Bell Rock

Not that the photos do it any justice from a mile away but that’s as close as I could get today.
I have not heard any sirens but the helicopters all day sure disrupted any peace and quiet.
That’s common with tourist season but today only local officials were hovering to watch.

The first picture is from my much larger viewpoint a mile away, the second is zoomed.
Not a big crowd but Peter is surrounded by people who know and love the real him.
The negative emails I received shows some don’t understand what Peter said.
His words are here for those who want to understand his Leap of Faith.

Top of Bell Rock December 21, 2012

Update December 21, 2012 9:30 PM
Just heard from Peter and he is still on top of Bell Rock with a few friends, until 11:11 pm.
It’s a beautiful moonlit night with crystal clear skies and lights beaming from Bell Rock.
I will update this again when I find out more, for now I sit and watch the lights.

Update #2
Peter came down at midnight and said “I didn’t win”.

I say he didn’t lose.

To eternity and beyond…

“The Truth IS Out There”

A Leap of Faith is not jumping off Bell Rock

Despite the rumors and suggestions of others, Peter is not planning to “jump off Bell Rock” on December 21,2012 (or anytime for that matter). As Peter told the local deputies that knocked on his door yesterday, he is not suicidal and anyone is welcome to climb to the top with him this Friday. So far this year he has guided over 150 grateful people from all over the world to the top of Bell Rock. Some of their journeys are recorded in the “Top of Bell Rock Club” photo album on his FaceBook page, including a local deputy in charge of Search & Rescue.

Several filmmakers have expressed interest in being there Dec. 21st to record whatever may or may not happen. No live feed is planned that I am aware of but in this day of smart phones, who knows what may show up on  LiveStream or YouTube. There may be DVDs or streams available from private parties later but neither Peter or I have any financial interest or gain from it. That could change if something special is caught on film of course. To date Peter has never asked for donations except during his days as the UFO Lawyer for CAUS to cover lawsuit expenses under the Freedom of Information Act. His dedication to Bell Rock and his personal mission has been unwavering and has been freely shared with all.

The “Hike Bell Rock” t-shirts for sale on this website are the creation of this website’s owner and webmaster, Jimmy Fox.
Any profit goes toward maintenance and hosting expenses for Bell Rock 2012, Peter does not get any of the money.
In fact, the only t-shirt that I’ve sold to date was to Peter, and I owe him a $3 refund because I lowered the price.
The last words I heard from Peter were he will still be around in 2013. C’est la Vie.
There’s nothing more to say except prayers for Peter on his quest.

Chelsea Lately roasts Peter Gersten, Esq.

Peter Gersten’s Leap of Faith off Bell Rock to save the world was the subject of Chelsea Handler’s monologue last Wednesday night (April 13, 2011) on E-Online’s Chelsea Lately show.

I hope you enjoy her tongue in cheek roast of Peter as much as I have. “The truth is out there.”
