STRANGER THAN FICTION?

Sometimes I get the feeling that our simulation is comparable to a grade B sci-fi flick. But then I remember that reality can be stranger than fiction. How about science fiction writer Philip Dick recognizing in 1977 – before computers were popular – that we existed in a simulated reality. Now he’s my kind of guy. I wonder if he ever wrote about a silicon-based mind-virus corrupting the frequencies of a simulation at its source. Destroying a carbon-based life form’s necessities for survival and rendering it infertile sound like violent actions to me. But I guess it’s almost impossible to wage war against an enemy you refuse to recognize.

Did Philip K. Dick disclose the real Matrix in 1977?

Silicon Based Life

Sometimes in science fiction, you’ll find aliens whose bodies replace carbon with silicon.

Time to end war against the earth

The war against the earth begins in the mind. Violent thoughts shape violent actions. Violent categories construct violent tools. And nowhere is this more vivid than in the metaphors and methods on which industrial, agricultural and food production is based. Factories that produced poisons and explosives to kill people during wars were transformed into factories producing agri-chemicals after the wars.
