When you’re the first person whose beliefs are different from what everyone else believes, you’re basically saying, ‘I’m right, and everyone else is wrong.’ That’s a very unpleasant position to be in. It’s at once exhilarating and at the same time an invitation to be attacked. –Larry Ellison

MISCELLANEOUS MUSINGs
I’m glad to see that psilocybin is being recognized as an aid in healing though it’s true benefit for humanity has yet to be appreciated. The 12 Pillars of Wisdom Intelligence Test has to be one of most challenging and unusual tests I have ever taken. Maybe I should try it under the influence of the magic mushrooms and then compare results. It’s comforting to know that there are people in Denver who weren’t fooled by the UFO hoaxer Jeff Beckman and his ridiculous initiative. Science fiction has no place in politics.
‘Magic mushrooms’ ingredient may ease end-of-life anxiety
Terminally ill cancer patients struggling with anxiety may get some relief from a guided “trip” on the hallucinogenic drug psilocybin, a new study suggests.
The Ultimate Intelligence Test
The 12 Pillars of Wisdom consists of 12 tasks followed by a short questionnaire. Each task will take between 1 and 3 minutes so the whole trial should run in less than half an hour. After completing the questionnaire you will receive a summary showing how you performed relative to the population.
Denver Voters Nix UFO Affairs Panel
Denver voters decided not to roll out the red carpet for space aliens, soundly rejecting a ballot initiative that would have required the city to establish an Extra Terrestrial Affairs Committee.
