He who joyfully marches to music in rank and file has already earned my contempt. He has been given a large brain by mistake, since for him the spinal cord would suffice. —Albert Einstein

INVESTIGATING the BRAIN

No matter how easy and beneficial an exercise is, the fact that it is called an exercise will discourage many people from performing the daily ritual. Maybe we should start calling cigarette smoking an exercise?

THE CYBERFLOW of INFORMATION

I just ordered David Meerman Scott’s book World Wide Rave on viral marketing. By using a combination of viral marketing, social networking, and other promotional opportunities on the Internet I should be able to reach most – if not all – of the “11:11” people in cyber-land. Has Viral Gone Viral?

THE UNHEALTHY SOCIETY

It is reasonable to assume that a healthy species depends on a healthy food supply. The opposite is also true. It is hard for me to believe that any life form would deliberately destroy that which it needs to exist. But the evidence is overwhelming that our food is poisoning us. When you factor in how poor the quality of our air and water are, it seems obvious that if we are not suicidal – we are under attack by an ‘alien’ invader.

High Fructose Corn Syrup – Killing Us Softly

There was a time when “food” was something you ate or drank to nourish your body. It’s a necessity of life — like air and water — and you could usually depend on food to be nourishing and healthy. But then something happened. Someone decided that food didn’t have to be nutritious or healthy — as long as they could make a profit from selling it.
